If a Horse Could Talk

The Life and Adventures of CDC Lexi, Iberican Horse

Happy Birthday to Me!

Hello! My name is CDC Lexi. I’m a horse, in case you didn’t know that already, and I’m so excited! I had my birthday on June 25th, 2024, which means I’m finally old enough to have my very own blog!

I’ll be sharing my adventures here with the help of my caregiver because I can’t type well, and the talk-into-text thing never seems to come out right for me, either.

I hope you enjoy following my life as I grow and learn and have fun doing all sorts of things. I’ve got big dreams, and many years ahead of me to explore the world. I’d love to have you come along for the ride!

To get this blog started and caught up to my life today, my caregiver, Kristine, will comb through FaceBook (#cdclexi) and share all of the posts already made about my life and adventures. I’ll add some comments as she does that. It will be fun to reflect on all the pictures and share my thoughts about them now.

Oh, and just in case you are wondering what “CDC” means, the “CDC” part of my name represents my breeder, Caballos del Corazon, which is Spanish for “Horses of the Heart.” I love this part of my name because it reminds me that there’s a place for me in your heart and there’s a place for you in mine!

If you are excited for me, please give me some love and let me know!

Love your friend, CDC Lexi

    1. Dear Abdulkadir hash Yusuf,
Thank you for making a comment on my new blog. How did you find it? Do you know any horses? Keep checking back as I add my history and future adventures.

  1. The fact you typed this with hoofs is impressive. I’ve have two working hands but I’d still have better luck typing with two golf clubs. Interesting horse fact: a horse’s legs are more like giant fingers than legs, and the earliest horses had toes, but I’m sure you already knew that, you’re a horse or course.

    1. Dear JDHolek,
You get me! Thanks for posting a fun and thoughtful comment. I love that you included a fun horse fact. You’ve made me feel like I’m not alone in the big, wide world of blogging. Somebody is actually reading my posts! That’s a great feeling. Thanks for making my day! I’m still figuring out how this whole blogging thing works, and how to get my pictures just right. I hope you check back again to see my progress. Learning new things can take some time, but I know if I stick with it I’ll get good at it.
